About

I’m currently (as of June 2018) the CEO and a co-founder of Nodus Tech, a Swiss-based healthtech startup.

Prior to that (from 2015 to 2018), I worked as the Head of Business Development and a member of the executive board at Sanitas, a Swiss health insurer. In this role, I drove the digital transformation at Sanitas and was responsible for the IT, corporate development, process management, analytics and corporate innovation units. During this time, I also served on the Board of Directors of MediData, representing Sanitas’ shareholder interests.

Prior to joining Sanitas (from 2009 to 2015), I worked at McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager where I led McKinsey and client teams on a wide range of projects for leading financial institutions across Western Europe and the Middle East, including on strategy design, regulation, re-organization, pricing, and strategy implementation. In this role, I developed proposals, prepared and conducted top management presentations, interviewed senior clients, and drove project work, including developing business cases and market sizing estimates.

During this time, I also gained an MBA (with distinction) from INSEAD while on educational leave (in 2012/2013). In addition, I also hold a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St Gallen in Switzerland.

I’m passionate about the ongoing ‘digital revolution’, the change it brings along and the underlying technologies making it all possible.

On this blog, I’ll try to regularly share what I’m learning and hopefully engage in some fruitful discussions with my readers.
